INFO
El Socorro Farm in Guatemala is celebrated for its unwavering quality and dependable production, consistently placing among the top entries in the prestigious Guatemalan Cup of Excellence competitions. Under the stewardship of Diego, a passionate third-generation coffee farmer, the farm has evolved significantly over the past 15 years, with an expanded range of varietals and refined, innovative production techniques.
Last year, El Socorro’s Washed Gesha took 1st place in Guatemala, and this year it achieved 5th place in the Washed coffees category with an impressive score of 88.83, awarded by both international and national judges.
El Socorro specialises in exceptionally clean washed-process coffees, using a unique hot-water technique post-milling to speed up fermentation. Diego believes this process preserves the bean’s density, enhancing the quality and clarity in each cup.
We are thrilled to offer a limited amount of this ultra-rare coffee, sourced through our valued partners at Caribbean Goods, exclusively in the UK. Please note, due to its rarity, El Socorro Washed Gesha is available only in 150g tins as whole bean.
