INFO
This Gesha has been grown at the top of the El Vergel Estate, in the Tolima region of Colombia, at an altitude of 1460 m.a.s.l. The El Vergel team have worked hard to delve into the genetics of the Gesha variety, to create new possibilities for flavour and quality.
Martha Montenegro and her coffee partners Elias and Shady are passionate, driven, and creative in their coffee production, and the results of their innovations are evident in every cup.
The Gesha cherries have been picked at peak ripeness, and have then undergone a carbonic maceration fermentation to create and lock in immense flavour. After 52 hours of fermenting, the coffee is dried in the sun, a slow and gentle approach to drying to ensure that the coffee is carefully handled at every stage.
This limited release is available only in 150g tins as wholebean.
